Bloody April: My enviro-vadge stash

Here is the stash. I have acquired a dozen pads (not all pictured), a Diva Cup, and 2 sea sponge tampons. With some planning & care I need not use any more disposable gear for my period! That is the goal.

I will keep trying with the Diva Cup. It's interesting that one commenter said that using the Cup actually shortens her periods. I just can't get the darn thing to stop leaking! However, there are good alternatives. I really enjoyed using the washable pads for this past cycle. They were soft, comfortable, and didn't slip on the undies. Here's to a greener moontime!

    I'm glad to hear that they are comfortable. I'm putting in my order for some this Friday (it's PAYDAY!). I'm just hoping that the pain from my IUD during my periods gets less over time.

    I have the Diva Cup and it takes me a lot of time to use it properly without leaks but when it does work I love it. Check out this site http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups/ it helped me a lot.
