Black-Eyed Susan Vine is...

Starting to bloom! I have a viney balcony this year.

And here is the Chinese Luffah Vine. It's going like green wildfire with its spacey little grabby tendrils, but I haven't notice any budding yet.  I want to eat a couple of them; the immature fruits are supposed to be a nice veg. And grow at least one into a sponge!

  1. I didn't know there was a black-eyes susan VINE! How lovely. Vines are some of my favorite plants, they twist and climb all over everything. They should take over your balcony in no time! :)

  2. Kim, I started these from seed in the late spring, so I'm thrilled to finally see flowers. The vines are starting to take over the chairs on the balcony, unfortch. :)

  3. Gorgeous!! So beautiful! and I love the tiny green coils in the last shot! i have a pumpkin growing..and love those tiny curly coiled vines! Beautiful post..thanks for sharing your magic as always!

  4. Oooh, I love your vines! I have never heard of a Black Eyed Susan vine before. It is just beautiful.
